The Red Palm Weevil Pheromone Lure is an eco-friendly and effective solution developed to control the Red Palm Weevil — a major pest that damages coconut, arecanut, oil palm and date palm trees.
This lure contains an aggregation pheromone, a natural compound that attracts both male and female weevils to the trap. By drawing them together, the lure helps reduce their population, stops further infestation, and protects the trees from internal damage.
Regular use of this lure helps farmers and plantation owners manage weevil attacks naturally, reducing the need for harmful chemicals and ensuring healthier, long-living trees.

How to apply
- Place the lure inside the trap and install it halfway into the soil, up to the side openings, or hang it on the tree trunk at about 1 to 1.5 metres height.
- Place traps in shaded areas to improve effectiveness.
- Use 1 lure per trap, and 3–4 traps per acre depending on infestation levels.
- Replace the lure every 2–3 months, based on weather and field conditions.
